Mr Know all, education is not mischief and deceit, stop misleading everybody. In matters of education you cannot know more than the academia. In other leading sane countries, universities are accredited to operate law schools, to directly prepare “graduate” students for bar exams then call to bar and practice. There should be nothing like nigerian law schools anymore, (shared along sectional and ethnic lines), rather admissions into any university law program must be first degree as minimum requirement. Law program should be a second degree course, of which, failures to pass the bar exams up to a certain trial period, shall disqualify a candidate from further exams. One continue to be lost why Nigerian system is upside down just like every other thing that puzzles in the space. There is no attempt to progress or revolutionize even if the people before started on a wrong foot, why is it that there is no intent, vigour nor tenacity to move with the trend, why is it that the space is doing everything possible to exclude themselves from the global village? if ever there were essence of a common law school, is it not time enough for the CLE to know that things are no more the same, issues have moved on, don’t they research to know that even with a law school in each of all the states, the intent and purpose for graduating and training lawyers is no more built on a common law school but in opening up and letting the universities compete healthily via their efforts to give the best trainings to their students. All they need is give them the curriculum and set a benchmark, others nations and countries are moving front, while nigeria is moving backward or at best standing aloof, in one place, that’s why, people prefer someone who ruled them 30 years back to come and rule them again in this age. The challenges seem more than what the ordinary eye and human can see or comprehend
